What is afínate?
afínate is an AI-powered financial and accounting management platform. It includes a team of AI agents (Lucía, Sofía and María) that automate bookkeeping, financial analysis and decision support: document processing, general ledger, bank reconciliation and natural-language reports.
Who is afínate for?
It is designed for entrepreneurs, SMBs and teams that want to keep their books current without spending hours on manual work. It is especially useful for anyone who receives invoices via WhatsApp or email, needs to organize financial statements and prefers to query information in plain language rather than reading raw tables.
What does the AI team (Lucía, Sofía, María) do?
Lucía processes documents, maintains the general ledger and answers financial questions via WhatsApp; Sofía reconciles invoices with payment receipts to manage accounts receivable and payable; María generates monthly financial reports with analysis. The three work together on the same up-to-date information.

Pricing & billing

Is there a free trial?
Yes. All new registrations receive 25 free trial documents, no credit card required. Send them via WhatsApp (the number linked to afinate) and you will see journal entries, reconciliation and financial statements generated automatically before activating any plan.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes. You can upgrade your plan at any time from the billing section. When you upgrade, you pay the full new price and the 30-day period starts from that date.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept PSE, debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) via Wompi. Payment is secure and we do not store your card data.
Is there a discount for annual billing?
Coming soon. Plans are currently billed monthly. If you are interested in annual billing, write to us at [email protected].
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on paid plans. If you are not satisfied, contact support to process the refund.

Product & usage

How do I send documents to the platform?
You can send invoices, receipts and bank statements via WhatsApp to the official afinate number or upload them from within the app. Lucía (the accounting assistant) processes and organizes them in your general ledger.
Can I connect my bank or ERP?
The Corporate plan includes API integration with your existing accounting system or ERP. For specific options (banks, accounting software) contact the team via the demo or contact page.
Is my data secure?
Yes. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), a database with Row Level Security so each client only sees their own data, and a payment gateway that meets industry standards. More details on the Security page.
Does it replace an accountant?
No. afinate is a support tool that organizes and processes accounting and financial information. For obligations that require a certified public accountant's signature (taxes, financial statements, audit reports) you must work with a professional. See the legal disclaimer in Resources.

Security & data

Where is my data stored?
Data is stored in a database with access policies (RLS) so each client only accesses their own information. The infrastructure includes backups and recovery measures.
Who can see my account information?
Only your organization sees its own data. afinate only accesses data when necessary for support or maintenance, subject to internal confidentiality policies.
How do I report a security incident?
You can report vulnerabilities or incidents to [email protected]. We review every report and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Where can I find legal information (privacy, terms, data rights)?

What are your support hours?
Lucía, our AI assistant, responds instantly 24/7 via WhatsApp. For cases that require human review, we respond by email ([email protected]) within a maximum of 3 business days.
