Lucía's functional architecture
Lucía covers the entire administrative cycle of your business: she generates or files documents, books the accounting, reconciles movements, prepares the period's reports and answers over WhatsApp and web. This page details the processing part (reading, accounting rules and reconciliation) that turns messy documents into consistent, auditable records.
Intake channel and preprocessing
Documents arrive through authorized channels (for example, corporate WhatsApp or direct upload in the platform). Each file is identified with its client, period and document type, and is stored in a processing queue with its traceability history.
- • Basic file validation (format, size and minimum legibility).
- • Routing to the reading queue by type: sales, purchases, bank or other.
Smart reading and data extraction
Once queued, the document is sent to an AI layer specialized in reading text and tables. There it identifies key fields such as date, third party, concept, amounts, taxes and bank reference. The AI returns a structured JSON that becomes the basis for the accounting entry.

- • Detection of totals and taxes to avoid imbalances.
Accounting rules engine
With the extracted information, Lucía applies a set of accounting rules configurable per client type. These rules define how data maps to accounts, cost centers and counterparts, following the chart of accounts agreed with the user.

- • Posting rules (e.g. domestic sales, operating expenses, fees, etc.).
- • Validations to ensure each entry is balanced in debit and credit.
Bank reconciliation
The generated movements are stored in a structured database by client and period. When it comes to bank statements, Lucía compares the bank movements with the invoices and receipts already recorded to mark transactions as reconciled or pending clarification.
